June 10, 2019 - The Greater Fitchburg Track & Field Club will begin it's summer session on Tuesday, July 9th, starting at 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Crocker Field, Fitchburg. The program will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, lasting a total of ten sessions culminating with a track meet on Thursday, August 8th, starting at 5:00 p.m. Participants will be introduced to a regimen of training, including a dynamic warm-up, stretching exercises, technique drills, a track workout, and cool-down. Participants will also be provided with information ranging in scope from the importance of a proper diet and hydration, to selecting proper training shoes.
