February 19, 2011 - Senior Brandon Davis and sophomore C.J. Jones
completed the Red Raiders indoor track & field season Saturday morning at the M.I.A.A. Division II
State Qualifying Meet held at the Reggie Lewis Center, Roxbury Community College.
Davis ran a season and personal best in the mile finishing 15th in 4:40.86, while Jones was 20th
in the shot put with a distance of 41' 7".
February 12, 2011 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team ran
to a thirteenth place finish at the 33rd Annual District E Invitational Division I Meet held Saturday morning at the Doug Grutchfield Field House.
Toni Onikeku, high jump, 5' 9"; C.J. Jones, shot put, 43' 2.75"; and the mile relay team comprised of Connor Lemiuex, Josh LeShane, Ezra Brice,
and Brandon Davis, 4:01.86, finished fifth in their respective events. Also representing Fitchburg in the meet was the
the 880 relay comprised of Tyler Robar, Lemieux, Onikeku, and Brice, ninth, season best, 1:45.50; Eric Myles, shot put,

February 7, 2011 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team
lost it's final dual meet of the season to Algonquin Regional, 73 to 17, Monday night at the Doug Grutchfield Field House.
Leading the was sophomore C.J. Jones was finished first in the shot put, 44', while senior tri-captain, Brandon
Davis, finished second in the 600 meters with a career best 1:32.3, and was second in the 1000 meters, 3:14.4. Also finishing
second was Toni Onikeku in the high jump, clearing 5' 6". Completing the scoring by finishing third were Julian Gittens, high jump,
5' 4"; Ezra Brice, 55 meter dash, 6.8; and Zac Peterson, 1000 meters, 3:18.3. For complete

The Red Raiders host the District Championships this Saturday morning with the Division I meet getting underway at 9:00 a.m.
February 5, 2011 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team ran
to a fifth place finish at the Mid-Wach A Championship Meet held Saturday afternoon at the Doug Grutchfield Field House.
Toni Onikeku led the way with a second place finish in the high jump with a personal best 6', while teaming
up with Julian Gittens, Connor Lemieu, and Tyler Robar to finish sixth in the 880 relay with a season best, 1:48.33. C.J.
Jones was the Red Raiders other top performer, finishing second in the shot put with a distance of 44' 1. Also finishing in
the top six was the mile relay team comprised of Lemieux, Josh LeShane, Ezra Brice, and Brandon Davis, third, 4:02.75;
Davis in the mile, sixth, 5:02.87; and the 2 mile relay team comprised of Ryain MacLean, Connor Dufour, LeShane, and Zac

meet scheduled to get underway at 5:00 p.m.
January 30, 2011 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team turned in a number of top performances
at the 48th Annual M.S.T.C.A. Indoor Invitational held Sunday at the Reggie Lewis Center, Roxbury Community College.
C.J. Jones led the way with an 18th place finish in the shot put with a distance of 45' 4.75". Jones was the top sophomore
in the event, finishing behind 16 seniors, and 1 junior. Brandon Davis turned in a career indoor best in the mile, finshing
71st with a time of 4:46.79, while the 800 meter relay team comprised of Dimitri Brasili, Julian Gittens, Connor Lemieux,
and Ezra turned in a season best 1:41.37 to finish 52nd. Other performances in the meet included Brice in the 300 meters,
151st, 40.59, while in the 55 meter dash Gittens was 154th, 7.39, Tyler Robar, 162nd, 7.47, and Brasili, 166th, 7.50. For complete results of the meet

January 26, 2011 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team
was defeated by St. John's (Shrewsbury), 76 to 15, Wednesday night at the Doug Grutchfield Field House.
Leading the was senior tri-captain, Brandon Davis, who captured the mile in a season best 4:57.6, while
sophomore C.J. Jones was also first in the shot put, 44' 6.5". Finishing second was Ezra Brice in the 300 meters, 42.0,
while completing the scoring by finishing third were Eric Myles, shot put, 39' 4.25"; and Toni Onikeku, high jump, 5' 6". For complete

Track Coaches Boys' Invitational scheduled to get underway at 9:30 a.m.
January 22, 2011 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team
performed well at the State Divison II Relays Saturday morning at the Reggie Lewis Center, Roxbury Community College.
Leading the way was the Shot Put Relay team comprised of C.J. Jones, Tommy Duong, and Ross McNamara,
which finished 17th with a commbined distance of 107' 3.75"; and the 50 Yard Shuttle Dash team comprised of Dimitri Brasili,

January 19, 2011 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team
were swept again in a double-dual meet Wednesday night losing to host Wachusett Regional, 70 to 21,
and Shrewsbury, 68 to 23, at the Wachusett Regional field house.
Leading the way versus Wachusett Regional was Brandon Davis who captured first in the mile in a season best 5:03.9; while
Jeffrey Duenas, 300 meters, 39.6; and the 880 relay team comprised of Dimitri Brasili, Julian Gittens, Trey Mahone,
and Abi Bamgbose, 1:48.9, also finished first.
Finishing second for Fitchburg, and completing the scoring versus Wachusett were C.J. Jones, shot put, season best 45' 10.25";
and Gittens, high jump, 5' 3", also a season best.
Versus Shrewsbury leading the way once again was Davis, who finished first in the mile; while Jones, shot
put, Duenas, 300 meters, and the mile relay team of Connor Lemieux, Duenas, Ezra Brice, and Davis, 3:57.8, were also first.
Finishing the scoring with third place finishes for Fitchburg were Zac Peterson, two mile, 12:02.1; Brasili, 55 meter high hurdles, 10.0;

January 15, 2011 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team
defeated the Oakmont Regional Spartans, 56 to 35, Saturday morning at the Doug Grutchfield Field House.
Leading the was senior tri-captain, Brandon Davis, who captured the two mile, 10:52.4, and 1000 meters,
3:03.9. Other first place finshes were turned in by C.J. Jones, shot put, 43' 9.5"; Julian Gittens, high jump, 5' 2";
the 880 relay team comprised of Dimitri Brasili, Gittens, Trey Mahone, and Tyler Robar, 1:50.3; and the mile relay team
comprised of Connor Lemieux, Jeff Duenas, Josh LeShane, and Ezra Brice, 4:08.7.
Finishing second were Sebastian Dalmaud-Belmonte, shot put, 35' 4"; Lemieux, high jump, 5' 2"; Brasili,
55 meter high hurdles, 9.8; Robar, 55 meter dash, 7.1; Zac Peterson, mile, 5:29.3; LeShane, 600 meters, 1:44.6; and Duenas,

Shrewsbury and Wachusett Regional with that meet getting underway at 5:00 p.m.
January 8, 2011 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team
were swept in a double-dual meet Saturday morning losing to Milford, 56 to 35, and Doherty Memorial, 63 to 23, at
the Doug Grutchfield Field House.
Leading the way versus Milford was Brandon Davis who captured first in the two mile, 10:57.3, and the
1000 meters, 3:02.4. Other first place finshes were turned in by C.J. Jones, shot put, 42' 5"; and Ezra Brice, 300 meters,
42.0.
Finishing second were Eric Myles, shot put, 36' 10.5"; Gittens, high jump, 5' 2"; Tyler Robar, 55 meter dash,
7.2; and Josh LeShane, 600 meters, 1:43.9. Completing the scoring by finishing third were Sebastian Dalmaud-Belmonte,
shot put, 34' 6"; Peterson, mile, 5:38.5; and Dimitri Brasili, 55 meter high hurdles, 9.7, and 55 meter dash, 7.2.
Versus Doherty Memorial leading the way once again was Davis, who finished first in the two mile and 1000 meters,
while Jones was also first in the shot put. Finishing second was Robar in the 55 meter dash, while third place finishes came

January 5, 2011 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team
defeated arch-rival Leominster, 70 to 21, Wednesday night at the Doug Grutchfield Field House.
Leading the way were sophomore Connor Lemieux, who finshed first in the high jump, 5' 4", and second in the 55 meter dash,
7.2, while freshman Josh LeShane finished first in the 600 meters, 1:47.6, and second in
the 1000 meters, 3:29.8. Other first place finshes were turned in by C.J. Jones, shot put, 41' 4"; Zac Peterson, two mile,
12:03.8; Tyler Robar and Julian Gittens, tied, 55 meter dash, 7.2; Brandon Davis, mile, 5:10.3; Jeff Duenas, 300 meters,
40.7; the 880 relay team comprised of Gittens, Tyrie Osby, Trey Mahone, and Robar, 1:48.4; and the mile relay team
comprised of Davis, Lemieux, Ezra Brice, and Duenas, 4:00.2.
Finishing second were Eric Myles, shot put, 39' 5"; Gittens, high jump, 5' 2"; Dimitri Brasili, 55 meter high hurdles,

December 28, 2010 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team
turned in several top performances Tuesday morning at the Mid-Wach Fresh/Soph Meet held at Wachusett Regional High School
in Holden.
Leading the way by placing in the top ten by event were: Shot Put - C.J. Jones, 1st, 38' 9"; and Tommy Duong, 6th, 34' 2.25".
High Jump - Connor Lemieux, 2nd, 5' 4", and Julian Gittens, 4th, 5' 2". Mile - Zac Peterson, 8th, 5:46.0. 300 Meters -
Ezra Brice, 2nd, 41.7. 1000 Meters - Josh LeShane, 9th, 3:29.2. 800 Meter Relay - Lemieux, Gittens, Trey Mahone, and Brice,

December 18, 2010 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track & field team opened it's
dual meet season with loss, falling to North Middlesex Regional, 61 to 30, Wednesday night at the Doug Grutchfield
Field House.
The Red Raiders had three top finishes in the meet as C.J, Jones finished first in the shot put,
38' 1"; Toni Onikeku, and Julian Gittens, T1st, high jump 5' 2"; and Jeff Duenas, 1st, 300 meters, 39.9.
Finishing second were Jan Carlos Orellano, 55 meter high hurdles, 11.1; and Gittens, 55 meter dash, 7.1, while completing
the scoring by finishing third were Eric Myles, shot put, 37' 3.75"; Josh LeShane, two mile, 12:41.7; Tony Duong, 55 meter high
